Requirements for the Applied Mathematical Sciences Major
To receive the B.S. in Applied Mathematical Sciences students must adhere to General Education and School of Natural Sciences Requirements . The Applied Mathematical Sciences program consists of 78-83 units with a minimum of 20 courses designed to give all students a common foundation of core knowledge specific to the discipline, plus breadth in an application area.

Biological or Environmental Systems Science Requirement [4 units]

One of the following courses may be substituted for one course in any emphasis track, unless it is already part of the emphasis track or major requirements.

To be admitted to the Applied Mathematical Sciences major transfer students must meet the following requirements:
