Statistical mechanics, thermodynamics, and chemical kinetics, taught from a perspective that develops the behavior of bulk matter from molecular properties.

Prerequisite: (CHEM 010 or CHEM 010H) and (PHYS 009 or PHYS 009H) and MATH 024 and MATH 032, which may be taken concurrently. CHEM 112 recommended. Normal Letter Grade only.
