PH 137: Insects and Public Health
[4.0 units]
Provides students an introduction to the science of entomology and its importance to Public Health. The course will cover how to identify insects and case studies of insect vectored diseases. Other topics include insects and allergies, insecticides and alternatives, medically important insects, and insects and environmental health.
Prerequisite: Sophomore standing. Normal Letter Grade only.
