USTU 110: Undergraduate Studies: Tutor Training
[4.0 units]
Students will analyze and apply current and traditional pedagogy and best practices of tutoring undergraduates in different disciplines. Principles of active
learning and strategies for managing peer groups will be examined in the context of tutoring diverse student populations. Applications of learning theory will occur in peer-critiqued practicums.
Prerequisite: WRI 110 or upper-division standing (at least 60 units). Normal Letter Grade only.
