ENVE 118: Climate Change: Science and Solutions Units: 4
Introduces the science, impacts, and solutions of global climate change with a focus on real-world applications. Explores how scientific and engineering disciplines contribute to the complexity of the climate system and solutions to mitigating change. Introduction to multi-dimensional aspects of the problem including social science, technology, ecosystem management, governance, economics and market incentives. A team project culminating in a final presentation will provide the opportunity for students to apply course material to science and policy.
