Explores the application of statistical and probabilistic modeling, data analysis, and simulation of stochastic processes in engineering decision making. Topics covered include basic probability and statistical methods of describing and analyzing data, common statistical distributions encountered in engineering, design of experimental studies to collect data, methods for statistical inference, analysis of regression and correlation.
