Serves as an introduction to the field of Writing Studies, with a survey of issues, theories, practices, methods, and terminologies important to writing studies. Engages the print and digital contexts for collaborative composing processes as well as understanding of rhetorical, discursive, and genre characteristics within historical, cultural and institutional contexts.
