In addition to adhering to General Education and School of Engineering Requirements , the following requirements must be met to receive the B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at UC Merced.
The Mechanical Engineering core consists of eight upper division courses designed to give all students a common foundation of core knowledge specific to the discipline.
Technical Electives (TE) should be selected in a manner that is complementary to, yet integrated with, your major area of study, and should be determined through close interaction with your major area advisor. Examples of TE classes are:
