Complete two electives from the following: Transfer Students
Transfer students who wish to major in Public Health should complete the Full Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) for University of California at their community college. Transfer students may not be admitted to the Public Health major without specific major preparation. Please contact the Office of Admissions for current information. Transfer Selection Criteria
To be admitted to the Public Health major transfer students must meet the following requirements: - IGETC Certification
- Minimum Overall GPA of 3.0
Applicants will, at the time of admission have completed at minimum each of the following courses (or their equivalent) with a “C‐” or better: **Note: After matriculating to UC Merced, transfer students may not be able to complete this major within four semesters. The coursework required may take a minimum of five semesters. |
