NEUR 101: Fundamentals of Neuroscience

Units: 4

Introduces the research conducted by UC Merced neuroscience faculty across multiple subfields, including molecular neuroscience, systems and cognitive neuroscience, computational modeling, and translational approaches. Showcases a different faculty member’s research each week, providing exposure to current scientific methods and discoveries. Critically engages with primary literature, facilitates guided discussions, and develops the skills to evaluate, present, and design neuroscience research.
