NSED 025: Introduction to Teaching Science and Mathematics in Elementary School - Seminar

Units: 1

Introduces careers in teaching Science and Mathematics at the K-12 elementary school level and enhances skills to better understand and communicate concepts to students. Effective teaching methods and learning strategies will be explored. An inquiry-based approach to teaching Science and Mathematics at the K-12 middle school level will be discussed, and there will be opportunities to plan and implement effective lessons. This is offered as part of the California Teach (CalTeach) Program.
