PHIL 006: Science, Technology, and Ethics

Examines the way science and technology are pervasive features of our lives, often held up as both the solution to and cause of numerous societal challenges. Introduces science studies, the history, philosophy, and social studies of science and technology. Analyzes the ethical, social, and legal implications of novel technologies and scientific research, using case studies from a variety of STEM fields.
