PH 118: Public Health Nutrition
Units: 4
Introduces public health nutrition and the roles of public health professionals. There will be an emphasis on definition, identification, and prevention of nutrition related disease. Nutrition assessment tools, the current state of evidence, diet and disease, and public health nutrition strategies and approaches will be examined. Students will learn basic public health nutrition concepts and apply them to their own lives and real-world issues through a variety of assignments and activities.
