WRI 117: Writing for the Social Sciences and Humanities

Units: 4

Studies and practices reading and writing in social science research, emphasizing the interpretation, articulation, and presentation of quantitative and qualitative data. Focuses on disciplinary conventions and style, through projects such as research proposals, literature reviews, case studies, field notes, object and artifact analyses, interviews, ethnographies, and academic posters.
