PHYS 018: Introductory Physics I for Biological Sciences

First introductory physics course for biological science majors. Topics include vectors, kinematics, Newton’s Laws, work, energy and conservation, torque and rotation, fluids, elasticity, oscillations and waves, all with an emphasis on biological applications.
