PHIL 189: Science, Technology, and Ethics Capstone


Units: 4

Enables students to complete an independent research project combining their ethical and scientific knowledge. In this Spring culminating experience course students will develop a case study that analyzes ethical, legal, or social issues in their chosen STEM field, synthesizing the two sides of their training. This will require students to generate their own research questions and plans, provide constructive feedback on other research projects, and give an oral presentation on their research findings.
