ENGR 080: Statistical Modeling and Data Analysis Units: 4
Explores the application of statistical and probabilistic modeling, data analysis, and simulation of stochastic processes in scientific and engineering decision making. Topics covered include basic probability and statistical methods of describing and analyzing data, common statistical distributions encountered in engineering and natural and social sciences, design of experimental studies to collect data, methods for statistical inference, analysis of regression and correlation.
