CE 193: Civil and Environmental Engineering Capstone Design Units: 3
Examines the principles of and provides practical experience in engineering design to selected civil and environmental engineering projects. Prior knowledge and teamwork are employed to scope engineering design problems and complete a feasibility study, preliminary design and review cycle, and final design report. Experience is acquired in design methods, writing and presentation, optimization and economic analyses in the face of real world constraints, working in an inclusive team environment, and project management.
