ENGR 030: Introduction to Conservation Principles in Engineering

Introduces principles of conservation of mass, energy, charge, and momentum. Explores the application of balance equations to problems in engineering, including biological, chemical, environmental, and related engineering disciplines. Practices engineering calculations that include problem formulation, unit conversions, and solution methods. Develops problem-solving skills and supports transition from general science and mathematics courses to discipline-specific upper-level engineering courses.
