CHEM 260: Introduction to Scientific Computing Units: 3
Teaches the tools and principles of scientific computing, with an emphasis on analyzing, visualizing, and modelling experimental data with computational models. The course covers the basics of the Linux bash environment and the python programming language, including multiple libraries geared for scientists and engineers. The course is geared towards graduate students who want to implement coding as part of their research, focuses heavily on hands-on training, but does not require any prior coding experience.
