BIOE 113: Bioinstrumentation Units: 4
Introduces fundamental principles of biomedical instrumentation commonly used in biomedical engineering research labs and hospitals. Techniques and principles of bioinstrumentation include biosignal and noise, biosensors, electrodes, electrocardiogram (ECG), defibrillators, pacemakers, electroencephalography (EEG), electromyogram (EMG), respiratory instruments, and optical microscopy. Reviews biomedical circuit and electronics.
